Red Pepper Coffee Lounge, Deli and Bistro

Red Pepper Coffee Lounge, Deli and Bistro recently opened its doors for business in Regent Street, Cheltenham next to the Everyman Theatre.

Owner Richard and his partner Lynda wanted an open kitchen which used minimum amounts of energy, but offered maximum flexibility.  They chose Target Catering Equipment's bespoke cooking station, combining a 6 zone i-hob induction cooktop with a Rational SelfCooking Center®, a Blue Seal Convection oven and a table top fryer with overhead plate shelf and grill.

The Target bespoke cooking station is fully mobile, which ensures effortless cleaning and the totally flat i-hob cooking surface can also be used as a preparation area when not being used for cooking, ideal for confined spaces and small kitchens.

 

The listed building also required a specialist kitchen ventilation system which was designed by Target.  Complete with canopy, internally mounted fan and odour control filters so no duct to outside was required complying with Cheltenham's strict planning constraints.

The high profile coffee station, supplied by Target, featured the red La Spaziale's take away espresso coffee machine, Segafredo coffee grinder and Priolinox coffee knocking drawers, so popular in Italy and coffee shops throughout the world.

 
Tucked away in the basement is the dishwashing area, squeezed in by Target after dismantling the heavy duty premium range dishwasher system to get it into the small, confined space.  Highly efficient, but totally out of sight, the system features the energy saving DC-100-IWSA dishwasher system, with built in water softener and WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved type  A airgap and rinse boost pump to optimise results.

All the kitchen equipment was supplied and installed to a tight schedule, and ready in time to open for Mothering Sunday and Cheltenham Race Week.
