As part of their 6th Form AS Level studies, Mr Collins and The King's School, Gloucester, Art, Design and Technology pupils are building sensory garden features for the National Star College, Ullenswood, Cheltenham which works with learners who have physical disabilites and associated learning difficulites.

The tactile garden features include many interesting materials and textures, as well as water and wind chimes.  Target Catering Equipment manufacturers are again helping with stainless steel profiling and fabrication, teaching students how their ideas can be turned into reality in the commercial factory environment.



The department, headed by Miss Bilingsley, will be exhibiting at the end of term in Gloucester Cathedral, showcasing the amazing achievements of the students as they take their designer art and marry it with the technology to create products having function and form.

Target Catering Equipment are proud to sponsor a new "Hands On Award" to be presented at the end of year speech day.  The award will recognise the student showing the highest level of practical achievement using their hands and mind in this inspirational subject.
