Peterborough United Football Club, nicknamed "The Posh" and sponsored by Peterborough Renewable Energy Ltd, discovered their gas cooking equipment was not as green as they thought, they also found out that their ventilation system did not comply with current gas safety regulations.

A solution was needed to replace their 6 burner gas range and oven as well as their deep fat fryer.  Main electrical contractors working at the club, researched the market place and discovered Target Catering Equipment, manufacturers of heavy duty induction cookers.  Following further investigation and talks with the Target team,  induction cooking was chosen as a viable alternative.

An all electric solution was in sight and Target Catering Equipment was commissioned to build the heavy duty 6 zone induction hob cooking station.  Combined with double stacked Rational White Efficiency® combination ovens, the heavy duty induction hob cooking station would cut energy bills and optimise production in the kitchen on matchdays and corporate hospitality days.
