Sodexo recently commissioned Target Catering Equipment to build their first chef's theatre cooking station. Following extensive tests and development work at the Target Catering factory and development kitchen which included trials of Target's commercial induction hobs and induction cooking stations, a design was finally approved.
 
With chefs' briefed by Project Manager, Chris Wright, the unit was delivered to the Aberdeen Maritime Museum for a special launch to the offshore industry with a view to enhancing the levels of service and quality of food at remote sites managed by Sodexo.

The event showcased a range of á la carte food, prepared in double quick time, demonstrating the flexibility and ease at which this new style of food offer can be integrated into the more traditional canteen style service, common throughout the industry.
