Gloucester Rowing Club Regatta 2011 attracted rowers from all over the country, including the famous Regrave family as well as Gloucester's famous Rodfords.

Target Catering Equipment sponsored races in the Junior section on Saturday and Seniors on Sunday.

Held over the August bank holiday weekend, which also saw the arrival of Tall Ships for the Tall Ships Festival in Gloucester, a specialist class for visiting pirate Jolly boats was introduced at short notice!

Hopefully as Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeration Company (GHURC) expands, this event will become as important as Henley in the rowing calendar with opportunities for sponsorship and corporate entertainment to help raise funds to build the proposed new Club House facilities alongside the new West Bank slipway.
